Our Workplace Culture
We say hi and bye.
In our office, the owner of TempForce Gainesville, upon arrival, will walk to every single person to say “Good Morning” and ask them of their day. It is the simplest and most sincere gesture and an act replicated by every employee. On the lowest level it infers a form of communication and on the highest level it acknowledges the role, importance, and voice of each staff member. If there were 80 staff members, in place of the 9 employees at TempForce, the owner would spend the first two hours doing the very same thing. That’s the first part of our work culture: our employees always say “hi” and “bye”.
In most corporate environments, there are boundless reasons to stay solemnly to one’s self. At any time throughout TempForce Gainesville, one can hear a deep belly laugh across the hall. It vibrantly interrupts the workplace monotony and we have begun to enjoy the pitch at which each staff member evokes a ridiculous amount of joy. We tell stories of embarrassing experiences and complement each other in exchange for smiles.
We stay on the same page. Or try to.
TempForce Gainesville has frequent staff meetings to ensure everyone on the team stays informed. So much can happen in our industry, internally and externally, therefore it is an intricate part of TempForce’s success. Each staff member has an extensive schedule but time is made for these meetings. (Sometimes because of the free food, but we each do what we have to in order to be there.)
