- Eat Healthy Snacks
Be careful about consuming too many of the sugary snacks left out in the break room, as they can add on sneaky calories and sap your energy. Don’t eat out of boredom – instead, take a walk or review your to-do list.
- Drinking Water
8-10 glasses every day can help keep you hydrated, with the help of foods like oranges, grapefruit, grapes, watermelon, and apples can help keep you healthy and hydrated.

“Walking during lunch is a great idea. Not only are you burning calories, but you’re de-stressing and refreshing.” Find a walking partner and get going!
- Eat a healthy and well portioned lunch.

Make sure to pay attention to how you position yourself at your desk. Sitting poorly for long periods of time can cause neck and shoulder pain, as well muscle tightness.
- Avoid Eye Strain
Sit at least an arm’s length away to help avoid eye strain, which can cause headaches, difficulty focusing, and increased sensitivity to light.
- Take Time Off!
Recharging your batteries and getting your mind off the stress of work can help you immune system and decreasing the risk of illness.
- Avoid Long Stretches of Work
It can be easy to lose track of time while working on an important project, but be careful about how this can affect your stress level, mood, and even sleep.
- Clean You Work Station
